Life continued for the Griffin family. John Robert served a mission from 1957 to 1959 in western Germany. John Griffin was called to the stake High Council. Paul Graduated from high school and started college at Utah State University. Marian entered high school. John Griffin had his back surgery and experienced the beginnings of Parkinson's disease which would stay with him for 16 years until his death. Dorothy after 5 years of teaching received her "Life Diploma" teaching credential. The Griffin family in these days though, prospered and matured.
