Sep 14 Spent the morning pressing clothes. This afternoon we took a bath and wrote letters. Tonight we took in a show.

Sep 15 Stayed around and studied most of the day. The Montpellier Elders came and we had a special meeting tonight - 17 out.

Sep 16 Went out in the country tracting this morning. Got caught in the rain and got soaked. Visited Mme Perrin tonight. More rain.

Sep 17 Spent this morning tracting with frere Thalman. This afternoon we visited and then came to Marseille. Saw frere.

Sep 18 Today I had the privilege of baptising the wife of our Armenian's frere. Visited the As. Its tonight.

Sep 19 Spent the morning chasing around getting ready for conference. Posted posters. Hunted friends this afternoon. Show with sisters tonight.

Sep 20 Today makes the two years. Six months to go. Tracted out in the country today. Not bad going.

Sep 21 Got a bunch of mail this morning. Wrote letters and got money cashed. Made a visit this afternoon. Home tonight.

Sep 22 Saw the soire this morning. Studied this afternoon. Held meeting with 16 out. Frere Thomson did the marriage.

Sep 23 Left early this morning for Beziers, arriving about 1:30. The Elders were out country tracting. Saw show tonight.

Sep 24 Put in a day of real honest to goodness tracting. Seemed hard. Studied and wrote to Chuck tonight.

Sep 25 Spent another day tracting here in Beziers. Read the novel "La Tulipe Noir" by Dumas - was real good.

Sep 26 Went country tracting today. Seemed good for a change. came back and made my financial report. Wrote mother.

Sep 27 Put out hand bills all day today. Came over to Montpellier this evening. Went to a show tonight.

Sep 28 Played tennis this morning. The President didn't arrive. Played more tennis this afternoon. Took a bath - still no President.

Sep 29 President Christensen was at the hotel when we went over this morning. Held conference tonight - 100; good.

Sep 30 Tracted out in the country today all day long. Fairly good. Went to bed early so as to leave early.
