Jul 2 Tracted most of the day. Got the proff for the posters we're having made and got the reports out tonight.

Jul 3 Tracted all day with frere Johnson. Its surely been hot. Visited with frere tonight. Talked to the sister after.

Jul 4 This has been kind of a dead fourth. Took a bath this morning. Saw a show and went out and saw them swim.

Jul 5 Went out in the country this morning. Didn't do much but look the country over. Went to a good show tonight.

Jul 6 I wish I could scratch this day off the page of my life. I surely got some bad news. Is much cooler tonight.

Jul 7 Went out in the park this morning and saw a musi. Held meeting - had 7 out. Came to Nimes tonight.

Jul 8 Tracted a little in Nimes then went over to Montpellier. Saw Mme Salye and made arrangements to go to Bessan

Jul 9 Went to Bessan and made arrangements for a conference on the 18th. It's going to be hard.

Jul 10 Had a good morning tracting this morning. This afternoon we made a good visit. Relief Society tonight - 14 out.

Jul 11 Tracted all day out in the country today. Had a good day. Came home and painted on the signs.

Jul 12 Had quite a morning - tracted this morning. Met a protestant pastor. Visited and tracted this afternoon.

Jul 13 Stayed around all day painting signs, writing letters, etc. Tonight we went to a rotten French show.

Jul 14 Studied for meeting. Held meeting tonight and had seven there. Was a real good meeting. France's big day (Bastille Day)

Jul 15 Fixed the signs and made arrangements for the conference. Held class at sisters. Went to Manias country home tonight.

Jul 16 Sent the affiches - tracted this morning. Visited Mme Sey this afternoon. Came over to Montpellier tonight.

Jul 17 Tracted in Montpellier with frere Osborn. Went to Bessan tonight - forgot date on the signs. Postponed conference.

Jul 18 Went from Adge over to Bessan; the affiches came came. Went down to the sea this afternoon. Is lonesome here.

Jul 19 Held conference in Bessan this afternoon at 6. Was a rotten hour but we had 108 out. Good spirit.

Jul 20 Held missionary meeting in Montpellier this morning. Good morning. Played football at Palavas this afternoon.

Jul 21 Held meeting this morning at 10 in Montpellier. Had five out. Studied, wrote letters and slept the rest of the day.

Jul 22 Went to see M. Salye this morning and I gave him the book. Came over to Marseille; seems good to be back.
