Jun 16 Well the conference is over. Had 70 out and it went off pretty good. Held missionary meeting this morning. Good spirit.

Jun 17 Spent the day down to Grau-du-Roi on the beach. Played football. Got a letter from Dot that about got me down.

Jun 18 Stayed in Nimes until 10:30 - got my money. Came over to Montpellier and went tracting this evening. Not so bad.

Jun 19 Tracted this morning and this afternoon. Visited an old lady. Tonight President Christensen and I with the other argued all night with a ------.

Jun 20 Did a little tracting this morning and visited Salye and the professor this afternoon. Good visits.

Jun 21 Went country tracting today. Not so hot. Tonight we visited seour Estoup. She is about the same. Saw a show after.

Jun 22 Spent this afternoon and evening at Palavas. Had a good swim and saw the full moon come up over the sea.

Jun 23 Went up and saw Mr Salye this morning then studied for meeting. There were 7 there and it was a good meeting.

Jun 24 About all we did today was tract. Had a pretty good day. Saw Salye again and got the the pastor. It's surely been hot.

Jun 25 Tracted most of the day today. Has surely been hot. Got no mail from home. I guess they've all forgotten me.

Jun 26 Made out my district reports this morning and tracted this afternoon. Was pretty hard going. Letter from mother.

Jun 27 Went tracting this morning and had a hard morning. Left at 3 for Marseille, stopping off in Nimes for my Carte d'Identete.

Jun 28 Spent the day out in the country tracting. Read "Tous que to fais, fais Bein" tonight. No mail yet.

Jun 29 Made arrangements and ordered 500 posters this morning. Went to a show this afternoon. Received mail from Dot at last.

Jun 30 Went for a walk and visited musee this morning. Held meeting this afternoon and only had the Saints there.



Jul 1 Tracted here in Marseille with frere Johnson. A hectic day. Frere ihanison is i11. Wrote to Dot tonight.
