Apr 23 Spent the day opening up tracting district. Visited M. Palloc this afternoon. Started eating with the Saints today.
Apr 24 Spent today opening up new district. Was surely hard going. Up in the high-powered section. Wrote home.
Apr 25 Tracted as usual - Did the visiting alone because frere Johnson was sick. The German girl came tonight and I did the preaching.
Apr 26 Tracted most of the day. Went out to "champs de manuevres' today. Went to see "Rookies" tonight.
Apr 27 Tracted as usual this morning. This afternoon I took an examination in French. Held class as usual - she is improving.
Apr 28 Played tennis this morning. Had scrap with frere Johnson at noon and went to show tonight. Got mail.
Apr 29 Held meeting as usual - had 27 there. I kind of blew up on my speech again. Visited the sisters as usual tonight.
Apr 30 Tracted most of the day. Had a pretty good day for a change. Got mail this morning. Dot is still on the rocks.

May 1 Tracted this morning. Cortey carne this afternoon. Made visit to Castillno this afternoon - was good visit.
May 2 Eight months ago today I left home - seems ages. Tracted as usual. Visited Saints tonight as usual.
May 3 Tracted this morning. This afternoon we hunted up friends. Tonight we went to the local Review. "Ca c'est Royal" - good.
May 4 Tracted this morning and had a real rotten morning. This afternoon we visited the students again - was a good visit.
May 5 Played tennis this morning and then went down to Palavas this afternoon and to the "Scarlet Letter" tonight.
May 6 Meeting today. Rained hard and so only had 9 out. Was a very good meeting. Visited the Saints as usual.
May 7 Tracted this morning. Cortey left today. Felt the racks this afternoon. Went to a Review tonight. Was not so bad. Wrote Dot.
May 8 Put in 42 hours today for a change. Had a pretty good day. Studied tonight. The sisters are on their ear.
May 9 Tracted this morning as usual. This afternoon we visited Md. Bul. Tonight we went around with the Saints.
