Apr 2 Tracted this morning. This afternoon we came to Marseille. Saw "Ca C'est Paris" - was surely a naked show.

Apr 3 Spent today in Marseille. Went down into the slums and hard district this morning. Saw "Md. Butterfly" tonight.

Apr 4 Spent the day in Marseille again. Played tennis this morning and saw a show this afternoon.

Apr 5 Tracted a little this morning. It was a holiday here today so we played tennis this afternoon. Visited Saints tonight.

Apr 6 Tracted all the day - Also wrote a bunch of letters. Played Rook a little tonight with Elder Johnson (bien).

Apr 7 Didn't do much today. It rained so we couldn't play tennis. Sat around and wrote letters. Went to show tonight (bien).

Apr 8 Well another Sunday gone. 20 out to meeting. Went for a walk with the Saints. Visited them tonight. Mail from home.

Apr 9 Today was a fete so this afternoon we went down to Palavas with the Saints. Had a good time. Visited them again tonight.

Apr 10 Tracted most of the day. Had a pretty good day - lots of conversations. Took a bath also got in 4 hours study today.

Apr 11 Tracted again most-of the day. Not so bad either. Visited friends a little this afternoon and visited Saints tonight.

Apr 12 Tracted this morning. Spent this afternoon fixing up the hall. Tonight went to see "Tom Brow of Harvard" - was good.

Apr 13 Tracted this morning - looked up friends this afternoon. Visited Md. Estang tonight.

Apr 14 Tried to play tennis this morning. It rained so we quit. Sat around this afternoon. Saw "The Temptress" tonight.

Apr 15 Held meeting again as usual. Only had 12 out. I kind of blew up again on speeches. Visited Saints tonight as usual.

Apr 16 Was sick last night. However managed to get in a good day of tracting anyway. Got stuff for drapes and pictures for hall.

Apr 17 Tracted most of the day. This afternoon I walked out in the country looking for a villa. Was certainly pretty. Studied.

Apr 18 Tracted most of the day as usual. Had a rather poor day. Visited Saints tonight. Got newspapers today. (pas mal).

Apr 19 Tracted a long time today. Got newspapers today but no mail. Wrote home to mother tonight. Kind of a bad day.

Apr 20 Tracted a little. Chased friends this afternoon. Played tennis this evening. Went up to the fair, afterword helped sisters.

Apr 21 Played tennis this morning. This afternoon our plans blew up so we went out in the country with the Saints. Saw rotten show.

Apr 22 Held meeting as usual. Had 17 there and had an exceptionally good meeting. Visited Saints tonight as usual.
