John Griffin to Mother / Besançon, France

Well it's all over now. That is the conferences. We arrived here Saturday at 1 a.m. Spent Saturday seeing the ville and buying at the bazaar. Saturday night they had a program and a pageant of the Book of Mormon. It was pretty good and quite well attended. Saturday we saw the big fort up on the hill, and also a big clock. It is said to be the biggest in the world. It was all very interesting.

Sunday we went to Sunday school in the morning and then in the afternoon we roamed the streets and took in the sights. Sunday night we went to another meeting. It was a good meeting. Monday was the big day. We had a 7 1/2 hour missionary meeting. It was a very good meeting and not half as hard as it seemed.
