Jul 16 Today has been a miserable day. My arm is all swollen and I can hardly move it. It's draining though tonight. Train late, about to Cheyenne.

Jul 17 Home, Mother, Dad, the family - Dot, Chuck, it all seems like a dream. Mother gave me a dinner. Dot is wonderful.

Jul 18 Unpacked my trunk this morning. Played tennis with Ben this afternoon and tonight. Dot and I and Chuck and Betty Rossiter went to the Old Mill.

July 19 Played golf with Dot and won a box of candy. Went to Bill Stratford's party. Saw Virginia Anderson. People change a lot.

Jul 20 Church today. Spoke shortly in all meetings. Merril spoke tonight - did very well. Chuck, Beth and Dot.

Jul 21 Started work today. Seems rather funny to get back. Went to Salt Lake with dad and checked in. Saw Dot tonight.

Jul 22 Worked today. Saw Dot again tonight and went up the canyon.

Jul 23 Worked as usual today. Tonight we went to Verona's birthday dinner. Went to El Monte.

Jul 24 Got Tenn to let us take his Ford so we went up Blacksmith fork. After we came home and went to Lagoon.
