Mar 1 Took a bath this morning. Went to see Maurice Chevalier in the "Love Parade" at noon and the Cousin de Paris tonight.

Mar 2 Went out to see an art exhibition this morning. This afternoon we had meeting and I had to speak.

Mar 3 Today I registered at school. Did a lot of chasing around looking up about the alliance Francaise. Saw frere Brent again.

Mar 4 Today was Mardi Gras and all we did was sit around. Tonight I went with Madeline Weery to dance. After we went up to Montmatre. Keen time.

Mar 5 Today I started school. It seems much harder than I thought it would be. Everything's in french and they make no allowances.

Mar 6 The second day at school. It's going to be hard but I think I'll like it. Studied this afternoon and tonight.

Mar 7 School is beginning to go a little easier. Getting used to hearing everything in french. Opera tonight "La Tosca".

Mar 8 Had one class this morning. Took a bath. Went out to Eiffel tower this afternoon with frere Brent. Met new freres, Shaw.

Mar 9 Today we saw the Panthion. Is quite the wonderful place. Held Mutual this afternoon and attended meeting after.

Mar 10 School again. Seemed a little better today. Am beginning to take notes in.french. Have theme to write.

Mar 11 Spent this morning in school. This afternoon I studied on my theme. It's surely going to be hard.

Mar 12 Spent today at school. Our recitation classes in the afternoon are more interesting. Saw frere Brent this afternoon.

Mar 13 Some more school this morning. Started writing my theme this afternoon. Is surely hard.

Mar 14 Finally got my theme written. Got to correct and copy it. Nothing unusual in school today.

Mar 15 Worked on my theme this morning. This afternoon I went out to the freres for mail, then to a club with Rulon.
