Feb 12 Got in Marseille at 4:30 a.m. Slept. Fixed up a few things. Went sight-seeing with sisters this afternoon.

Feb 13 Pressed clothes and took a bath this morning. Packed up and left at 4 bells for Geneva. Arrived at 4:30 a.m.

Feb 14 Saw Geneva this morning. Took train at 10 and arrived at Florence at 3:40. It seems to be an old city. Saw show tonight.

Feb 15 Took a sight-seeing tour of Florence. Saw Cathedral, art galleries, and many wonderful churches. Left for Venice 11:15.

Feb 16 Arrived in Venice at 6 a.m., Surely a funny city. Saw the Doges Palace this morning. Surely wonderful.

Feb 17 Bought a couple of venetian shalls, a c ----and an ivory rose this morning. Left Venice at 2:40 for Rome.

Feb 18 Arrived in Rome at 7 this morning. Took sight-seeing tour. Saw the Vitisan museum. the great work of Raphael, etc.

Feb 19 Spent today sight-seeing a la scotch. Saw St. Peters this morning. The forums and coloseum this afternoon.

Feb 20 Spent today on the train. Left Rome at 7:30 and arrived at Nice a little after midnight. Saw the tower of Pisa. Seems good to be in France.

Feb 21 Looked over Nice today. It rained and was miserable. Tried to find seour Combe; no success. Went to a review tonight and met frere Brent.

Feb 22 Looked over la promenade des Anglais this morning. Went over to Monte Carlo this afternoon. Lost 60 fr. Is the prettiest place on earth.

Feb 23 Today was the big carnival at Nice. Surely had a good time. Parade and confetti fight. Caught the 9 o'clock train for Marseille.

Feb 24 Met President Wolf in Marseille today. Spent the day with him looking over the city. Saw show tonight.

Feb 25 Pressed clothes and packed my trunk to go to Paris. Left at 7:30. It was surely hard to leave the good old Saints.

Feb 26 Arrived in Paris at 9:30 this morning - looked up freres and caught them just going out. Spent day with them.

Feb 27 Got my trunk up from the Gare and got it up on the 6th floor where we live. Went to school with frere Cris this afternoon.

Feb 28 Looked over the town a bit. Went over to school and got some information about my classes. Don't start until the 5th.
