Jul 22 Layed around and studied and wrote letters most of the day. Held meeting tonight - had 23 out. Was a very good meeting.

Jul 23 Went with frere Brigham to see Soeur Combs this morning. Frere Brigham left at noon. Tracted and held class this afternoon.

Jul 24 Spent three hours tractting. Visited Mme Bois today and held class up in attic with st tonight. I surely like our st.

Jul 25 Had quite a good day today. Put in 32 hours and then visited the old witch this afternoon. Went swimming after with Vig.

Jul 26 Tracted as usual this morning. This afternoon visited Vig. etc. Tonight held Book of Mormon Class - was hard going.

Jul 27 Tracted this morning as usual and this afternoon visited the photographer. Went swimming with Vig after. Wrote home.

Jul 28 Went on an excursion or hike. Walked a long ways. Came home and held real keen visit with Madame & friends.

Jul 29 Held meeting tonight and had 27 out, and held a good meeting. Got letter from Dot. She is ill and feeling low.

Jul 30 Tracted this morning. This afternoon we went to see the old witch, went swimming and held the class at Millis. Saw show.

Jul 31 Tracted as usual this morning. Started opening up another district. Visited shoemaker and wife this afternoon. Tonight held class up at the sisters.



Aug 1 After we got out reports this morning we went tracting; also tracted this afternoon. Got $10 from Aunt Lilly today.

Aug 2 Tracted as usual this morning. Was hot and hard. Went to see show with Vig. Got mail from home. Held class tonight.

Aug 3 Tracted a lot today. This afternoon we visited soeur Portay and then went swimming with Vig. Tonight visited the lady.

Aug 4 Took a bath this morning and wrote three letters. This afternoon we went out to Uriage and to a show tonight.

Aug 5 Today was fast day; all we did was sit around and study. Held meeting and only had 17 out. Good meeting though.

Aug 6 Spent most of the day tracting. Tried to find some friends home but with little success. Went swimming with Vig this afternoon.
