President Rulon Christensen to John Griffin
In order that our District Presidents may more fully accomplish their duties we are calling them for a longer period of service. You are hereby called to replace Elder LeGrand Silver as president of the Marseille District. Elders George Rands will replace you as President of the Neuchatel Branch. He should arrive for Sunday, May 18th. You should prepare to leave as soon as possible thereafter for the Midi so that you may spend some time with Brother Silver whose release will take effect May 30, 1929.
At present I will say this. Go into your new work with the idea of formulating plans which you can work and will help the Elders to succeed. If you can realize the possibilities of you call the rest of your mission will be the most interesting time of all. I hope to see you and talk our problems over before you go south.
