John Griffin to Mother / Montpellier, France

I just received my change, so I have to write and tell you about it. I will not have time to write very much but I can tell you where I am going and all. I have been assigned to work in Grenoble, France as president of the Branch. I kind of fear this new job because an old experienced missionary has been there for the last six months and they have made an awful lot of progress up there. Naturally I will be expected to keep it up. It is a bigger branch than Montpellier, having 7 or 8 members. My companion for a while is Frere White who I came over with. This condition is very strange and rarely happens in a mission.

My new address is 36 Ave Alsace Loraine, Grenoble, France (chez Barbier). So send all letters there. I surely sense the responsibility I have now and I hope that I am able to fill all expectations.
