Dec 26 Spent today going around with frere Middleton to say good by to all the friends. He left at 10 bells tonight for Paris.

Dec 27 Got up late - wrote letters - went to a show this afternoon. Surely feel lonely tonight. Held Book of Mormon class tonight.

Dec 28 Went out tracting this morning and by noon I felt much better. Came home and found frere Hathcock here.

Dec 29 Took a bath this morning. This afternoon we went to a show and tonight the opera. "Renee de Valse" - good.

Dec 30 Studied some - sat around and thought some, and finally held meeting. Was a good meeting - 18 out.

Dec 31 The Elders came from Lyon. Arranged to go skiing tomorrow. Played Rook and frere Hart left at 10.



Jan 1 Went skiing at the Col de Porte today. Was the best day I've spent. Tonight went to a show.

Jan 2 Got back at it this morning; was rather hard. Went up to see the witch this afternoon. Came home tonight and studied.

Jan 3 Tracted this morning with frere Holt. Had a funny experience. Held class at Cubliers this afternoon; after visited Vig. Book of Mormon class tonight.

Jan 4 Tracted this morning. This afternoon we went to see seour Portay and then took a bath. Tonight we held class at irnt.

Jan 5 Wrote letters most all morning long. This afternoon we went to a show and tonight took in the opera.

Jan 6 Stayed in and read conference reports most of the day. Tonight we held meeting and because of the cold only had 14 out.

Jan 7 Felt rotten this morning and so stayed home. Went to see dentist about noon. He surely punished me. Class tonight.

Jan 8 Got up and at it again today. Feel much better. Visited hunchback - Held class with sisters tonight.

Jan 9 Tracted this morning. This afternoon frere Holt left and we did some visiting. Saw the dentist and took a bath.

Jan 10 Tracted most of the day. Went over to Vigs late this afternoon. He has not finished my suit yet. Held Book of Mormon class tonight as usual.
